Psquare musical duo were absent at the Eko Hotels & Suites yesterday after they were blacklisted by President Jonathan’s aides for charging expensive performance fee.
The duo were asked to come and entertain guests at the event but when their manager pushed forward a fee close to 50 million naira, they were asked to step aside.
Creative Nigeria and Nollywood stakeholders met with Jonathan and PSquare was blacklisted.
Sources close to Psquare hinted the invitation extended to them was not to come to a parley with the President like thousands of others invited but to come and entertain guests, a request that comes with a fee.
