Dapo Oyebanjo, popularly called D’banj, has flaunted a
gift he received from Grammy award winning Rock band,
U2.
The koko master, who tagged it his best Christmas and
New Year gift , took to his social media accounts to show
off the historic present from his “godfather”.
“What a Great way to kick start the year, see what I got
from my GodFather in Music, best Christmas/new year
gift ever,” he wrote.
The award-winning artiste and nagropreneur, emphasised
how dear the gift was to him, saying he
would frame it.
“This one I shall frame. Thanks to greatest Rock band
ever, U2 (the Hewson Family) for this Gift,” he said
via Instagram.
“Special thanks to my daddy, Godfather BONO for making
me know how special and favoured I am.
“God bless you guys; 2015
is really mine…
OooSssHhhEee.”
U2 is a 38-year-old Rock band that was formed in 1976 by
Bono (vocals and guitar), The Edge (guitar, keyboards, and
vocals),
Adam Clayton (bass guitar), and Larry Mullen, Jr. (drums
and percussion).
The group won its first Grammy award back in 1988, when
D’banj was just 8 years old and has since
then won 22 Grammy awards, making it the group with
the highest
number of Grammies.
