News: Gombe Governor Dankwambo Convoy In Fatal Car Accident, 14 People Killed In Bauchi

Bauchi Police official yesterday confirmed the tragic death
of 14 people involved in a fatal crash caused by Gombe
state Govenrnor Dakwambo’s overspeeding convoy on the
popular Bauchi/Gombe Federal Highway.
The fatal accident that happened in Alkareri Local
Government Area of the statement around 7pm on Thursday
caused three passenger buses and a motorcycle to catch
fire.
14 victims of the accident were burnt beyond recognition.
The burnt remains of the caualities were taken to Federal
Medical Center in Gombe by Police Patrol Team attached to
Alkaleri Division.
Gombe State Police PPRO, Mohammed Haruna said the
case is still being investigated.
