Scandal: 9ice’ Ex Wife, Fmr Publicist Rubbish His Political Dream, Leaks Photos Of Him Fighting on The Street

The first set of attack came from no other than Toni Payne, his embittered ex-wife and mother of his first child, Zion who has been criticising his ambition publicly on social media and telling all ears that care to listen why 9ice is unfit to lead.


An instance was some weeks back, a day after 9ice flagged off his political campaign, 9ice who forgot his daughter’s birthday due to his busy campaign schedule tweeted; “Yesterday was my daughter’s birthday. Got carried away but this is for you dear. may you live long and excel beyond all odds.”
Then Toni Payne retweeted 9ice’ message and later tweeted:
“A bird that isn’t responsible enough to feed its nest cannot take care of an entire tree… Charity begins at
home #QuoteOfTheDay… Na wetin dem dey take chop una be that. Know your candidates well before you waste your vote; not just by what they promise. Check their track record.”

Now, Ayeni Adekunle, 9ice’ very popular former image maker is another person who is currently making effort to hurt his political ambition. Though Ayeni himself is not personally writing stuff against 9ice, his very popular platform Nigerian Entertainment Today(NET) has just published a story equally questioning 9ice’ credibility to represent the people of Ogbomoso, Oyo state in the House of Reps come 2015.
Ofcourse, Ayeni is the owner of NET and has the power to make his reporters to trash such a damaging report against 9ice who used to pay his bills.
But Adekunle’s platform, Thenet.g decided to release these photos exposing 9ice’ real ‘street credibility’, with a story headlined; “Is this how 9ice intends to care for youth as a politician?”

“Singer turned politician, Adegbola Akande Abolore aka ‘9ice’ had what can be described as an altercation with some of his supporters today. The incident, which is coming when the youthful supporters approached the Alapomeji boss in Ikeja, Lagos, is coming just days after 9ice stated that he will focus and invest in the life of youth if elected as a member of the House of Reps. The Oyo State-born singer is seeking a political office through the All Progressives Congress, attended the HIP TV Anniversary held at the TV station’s office in Ikeja but ended up exchanging words with some young people who came up to shower praises on him when he was leaving the venue. The Gongo Aso hit maker, who feels they were out to extort money from him, did not employ dialogue at all but went all out to rebuke the supporters in a harsh tone as he made his way into his car, a white Honda Crosstour.”
Those in the know will tell you that before 9ice sacked Ayeni as his publicist, the media entrepreneur will not let even a fly hover around the singer’s head but those who have been observing, including me, has seen how the dude now hit his former employer hard in a manner that is not nice at all, while you’ll never find on his site or Entertainment newspaper any negative story about other artistes he manages.
