Contrary to claims in the blogosphere that Mavin’s first lady, Tiwa Savage, is expecting her first child for Tunji Balogun, Saturday Beats learnt from the singer’s assistant that the story is false.
Tiwa recently attended DJ Jimmy Jatt’s 25th anniversary as a disk jockey, wearing a loose gown, sparking off rumours that she was pregnant. (SEE BELOW) The diva has a stunning reputation for wearing mind-wowing body-hugging dresses.
Apart from the loose dress, Tiwa had posted on her twitter handle, “The spirit of a mother #mrsteebillz #marriedandtaken.”
When Saturday Beats called her husband popularly referred to as T-billz to confirm if the story was true or not, a male assistant who introduced himself as Thompson, said the story was false.
He said, “T-Billz travelled to the US but Tiwa is currently in Nigeria. That story is false, it is not true. People would always write what they want to. It is the way the dress is. The story is totally false.”
He however affirmed that the singer together with her music label mates, recently dined with one of Africa’s richest men, Femi Otedola, on his yacht. He told Saturday Beats that he was not present on the yacht so he did not know what the meeting was about.
“I don’t know what was discussed because I was not there but she went in company of Don Jazzy and Dr. Sid,” he said.
