MEND sent out an urgent warningletter of their planned attack for Friday, the 5th of April, 2013 over the imprisonment of their leader Henry Okah. It appears they have resumed their hostile attacks in the oil rich region. On Friday some suspected MEND gunmen killed 12 police officers during an escort duty in Bayelsa . The boat was attacked at Azuzuama in IJAW LGA of the statewhile dignitaries travel to Kile Torughedi’s mother burial. According to Bayelsa Police officials, only two officers survived the attack.
