News:- Nigerian Senator Gyang Daylop Have Been Murdered In Plateau State

Gunmen suspected to be the same group of militants terrorising Plateau State in recenttimes have shot and killed a serving senator and the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Health, Senator Gyang Daylop.

Others shot in the attack include a member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Simon Davou and the Majority Leader in the State House of Assembly member, Gyang Fulani. Sources told Us that the House of Assembly member has been confirmed dead while the House of Reps member is believed to be in critical condition.
Naijaboard gathered that theunfortunate incident happened on Sunday during the mass funeral of those slain by the Fulani hardsmen who attacked six villages in Plateau State on Saturday. Several others were also affected in the attack.
Senator Daylop, a medical doctor by training was elected to the Senate in 2007. He defeated Senator D. B. Zang for the Plateau North Senate seat.
Senate spokesman, Senator Ayinaya Abaribe, have confirmed the tragic event.
