An improvised explosive device (IED) has exploded in the Bayan Garin area of Bauchi, Naijaboard.tk just learnt. The area is famous as a hub of social activities and is the location of numerous bars and restaurants. Itis also favored by prostitutes.
Several residents told a correspondent of naijaboard that they heard aloud explosion in Bayan Garin area, but they were just too afraidto get out of their houses.
Sources revealed that police and army units have swarmed the township overnight to prevent massive bloodletting promised by the Islamist militant group Boko Haram.
